Finding a good iPod Touch review is not as easy as you might imagine. Reviews tend to be glowing. They try to sell you the product rather than give you an honest account of how it is. So, how good is the iPod Touch really?
Well, this reviewer likes it. The Touch’s touch of style and class is not too flashy. Not too laid back either.
It looks very much the same as the iPhone, but it isn’t. It’s not a phone, it doesn’t have Bluetooth or a camera. It even lacks some of the iPod’s expected features.
But despite all that, it seems to have been reviewed so many times that there’s really little more to add. The Touch’s touch, so to speak, as far as we are concerned, is the WiFi feature. You can access the Internet via a special version of the Safari browser. There’s also a movie function for viewing YouTube contributions.
In summary, the iPod Touch, far from being out of touch, has managed to touch our hearts by being special and refreshingly different. The user interface is “multi-touch” which presumably is where it’s name is derived from. This interface will undoubtedly appear again in future products, and it’s an excellent feature too.
